Summary

Create a BulkPublish post for one or more social channels, either as a draft or scheduled post. Optionally attach media and labels, set platform-specific text and publishing options, request approval, and configure link tracking.

Inputs

• Content (required) — Post text used by default across the selected channels.
• Channels (JSON) (required) — JSON array of channel objects with channelId and platform; get channel IDs from Channel > List.
• Status — Create as a draft (default) or schedule it for publication.
• Scheduled At — Publication time in ISO 8601 format; shown for scheduled posts.
• Timezone — IANA timezone for scheduled posts; defaults to UTC.
• Media File IDs — Comma-separated IDs of uploaded media files.
• Label IDs — Comma-separated label IDs.
• Platform Content (JSON) — JSON map of platform keys to text overrides, such as {"x":"Short","linkedin":"Long version"}.
• Post Format — Choose post (default) or thread. Thread format is intended for X, Threads, Bluesky, and Mastodon.
• Post Type Overrides (JSON) — JSON map of platform keys to post types, such as Instagram reel or YouTube short. Platform requirements vary; for example, YouTube and TikTok require video files.
• Platform Specific (JSON) — JSON with platform-specific settings. Some platforms require fields such as YouTube or Pinterest title, Reddit subreddit, or Discord channelId. Reddit, Discord, and Tumblr options can be keyed by BulkPublish channel ID.
• Thread Parts (JSON) — JSON array of thread parts with content fields; required when Post Format is thread. Each part is checked against the character limits of all target platforms.
• Request Approval — For scheduled posts, hold publication until an authorized team member approves it. Defaults to false; drafts ignore this setting. Contributor API keys may cause the server to require approval regardless.
• Publish When Approved — When approval is requested, publish immediately if approval comes after the scheduled time. Defaults to false; late approval otherwise returns the post to draft.
• Link Tracking — Inherit the organization setting (default), enable, or disable BulkPublish link shortening and click tracking for this post. Rewriting occurs at publish time per channel and may be skipped if it would exceed a platform's character limit.

Output shape

One or more post records as n8n items.

The node sends a POST request to BulkPublish and wraps a single response object as one item; if the response is an array, each element becomes an item. Each output item is paired with its corresponding input item.
