Search

AI-generated

Summary

Search Bullhorn Candidate records using a Lucene query string and return matching candidate data.

Inputs

  • Authentication — Select authentication method: User Credentials (Email & Password) or Enterprise Credentials (API Key). Defaults to Enterprise Credentials.
  • Enable Operations Log — Toggle to emit an operations audit log for write operations; irrelevant for search but shown by standard properties.
  • Lucene Query — Lucene query string to filter search results. Supports wildcards () and boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT). Defaults to returning all records (':*').
  • Fields to Return — Comma-separated list of Bullhorn Candidate fields to retrieve for each matching record. Defaults to 'id,firstName, lastName, email, status'.
  • Limit — Maximum number of candidate records to return. Must be between 1 and 500; default is 20.

Output shape

A list of candidate records matching the query, each containing the requested fields as JSON objects, or an empty list if no matches are found.

If no results match the query, no candidate items are returned on the main output; instead, a 'No Results' output contains metadata about the query. The operations log output is not used for this read-only 'search' operation. The node uses BullhornHub enterprise or user credentials for authentication and performs a secure HTTP POST to the BullhornHub API to execute the search.

Examples

Example 1: Search for active candidates named 'Acme' excluding deleted records

Set the Lucene Query field to 'name:Acme AND -isDeleted:true', optionally adjust fields and limit for returned data
