Summary

Update metadata for a Carbone template or a specific version. Choose a template from the list or provide its ID; a template ID targets the currently deployed version, while a version ID targets that exact version.

Inputs

• Template ID (required) — Select a template or version from the searchable list, or enter its ID.
• Update Fields — Optionally set a comment, deployed-at date, expiration date, destination template ID, or name. Leaving a field unset omits it from the update. Clearing Expire At cancels a scheduled deletion; a future Deployed At date is rejected by the API.
• Category Name or ID — Optionally assign a category, selected from the list or provided by expression.
• Tag Names or IDs — Optionally assign tags, selected from the list or provided by expression. The UI description states duplicates are removed, tags are sorted alphabetically, and the combined list is limited to 100 characters.

Output shape

A single item containing the Carbone API response in its JSON field.

The operation sends a PATCH request to the selected template or version and returns the parsed response, pairing it with the input item. API errors are surfaced as node errors.
