Summary

Search for tokens across specified chains using a query string, returning a limited set of matching results.

Inputs

• chains — Comma-separated list of chain identifiers to search within. Optional; if omitted, the API may default to all supported chains or a configured set.
• q — The search query term used to filter token results.
• limit — Maximum number of results to return. Minimum value is 1; defaults to 50 if not specified.

Output shape

array

Returns an array of token search result objects from the Chainstream API. Each item corresponds to a single API response entry constructed via helpers.returnJsonArray.

Examples

Example 1: Search for tokens named 'USDC' on the Ethereum chain with a limit of 10 results.
