Summary

Retrieve configuration data from Cisco NSO using a specified path.

Inputs

• configPath (required) — Path to the configuration in YANG format, defaulting to '/tailf-ncs:devices'.
• additionalOptions — Optional settings for the request including commit queue mode, subtree depth, dry run mode, no networking, and response format.

Output shape

a JSON object containing the response from the Cisco NSO API

Response format can be JSON or XML based on specified options. Depth limit can be set; 0 means no limit. Dry run option allows validation without committing changes.

Examples

Example 1: Retrieve the configuration for a specific device

Set configPath to /tailf-ncs:devices/device=router1/config and use default options.

Example 2: Check configuration while suppressing networking actions

Set configPath appropriately and turn on noNetworking.
