Updates a specified task in click5 CRM.

Inputs

• taskId (required) — Task _id (24-char hex) to update
• additionalFields — Optional fields to update, including task details such as assigned user, due date, and attachment options.

Output shape

an updated task record

Returns the updated task information. If no fields are provided, only the Task ID is required to perform the update.

Examples

Example 1: Update an existing task name and due date

Set taskId to the target task's ID, name to 'New Task Name', and dueDate to '2023-10-10T12:00:00Z'.

Example 2: Link task to a deal/contact

Set taskId to the target task’s ID and dealId to the ID of the deal or contact to link.
