Summary

Upsert a contact in a workspace, creating it if it does not exist or updating it if it does, based on email.

Inputs

• workspaceId (required) — The ID of the workspace the contact belongs to.
• email (required) — The email address of the contact.
• firstName — The first name of the contact.
• lastName — The last name of the contact.
• phoneNumber — The phone number of the contact.
• additionalFields — Additional field key-value pairs for custom data.
• state — State or province of the contact address.
• tags — Comma-separated list of tags to apply to the contact.
• timeZone — The IANA time zone of the contact (e.g. "America/New_York").
• zip — Postal / zip code of the contact address.

Output shape

a single contact record

Returns the created or updated contact object with fields such as contactId, email, and workspaceId; errors are wrapped in an envelope.
