Summary

Scans a file using Cloudmersive's advanced virus scanning with optional configuration options.

Inputs

• binaryPropertyName (required) — Name of the binary property that contains the file to scan
• overrideFileName — Optional original file name header for advanced scan
• advancedControls — Collection of advanced scan toggles and options
• restrictFileTypes — Comma-separated file extensions to restrict the scan

Output shape

An array of objects where each item includes the API response (JSON) and the index of the processed input item

The array length matches the number of input records; errors are raised as NodeApiError and can be handled with continueOnFail

Examples

Example 1: Scanning a file stored in the 'binary' property of the workflow

Set Resource to File, Operation to Advanced Scan, keep Binary Property Name as 'data', optionally set Override File Name, configure Advanced Controls as needed, then connect the output to the next node.

Example 2: Scanning a file with a custom name and restricted extensions

Provide the file via the binary property, set Override File Name to 'report.pdf', set Restrict File Types to '.pdf,.docx', enable desired Advanced Controls options, then execute the node.

Example 3: Using default advanced controls without restrictions

Leave Advanced Controls unchanged (all false) and omit Restrict File Types; only ensure Binary Property Name is set and Operation is Advanced Scan.
