Summary

Compress a PDF file using customizable settings without losing visual quality by sending the file to the ComPDF API for asynchronous processing.

Inputs

• binaryPropertyName — The name of the binary property containing the PDF file to compress (default is 'data').
• parameter (required) — A string parameter for the API request defining specific compression settings.
• language — Language setting for OCR and text recognition, defaulting to '2'.

Output shape

a list of JSON objects representing the asynchronous processing response for each input file

Each output item corresponds to an input and includes the API response JSON. The response could contain task details or compressed file references, returned in an array even for single inputs.

Examples

Example 1: Compressing a PDF file in the binary property 'data' with specific compression settings

Set 'binaryPropertyName' to 'data', provide compression options as a parameter string, and optionally specify the language if OCR features are relevant.
