Summary

Extracts configured text fields and table data from a single-page file in the selected binary property, returning the OCR result synchronously. Reusing the same field schema reuses the same ConDoc project.

Inputs

• Desired Output (required) — Add fields to extract, each with a name, type (Text or Table), and optional description. For table fields, define column names and optional descriptions.
• Binary Property (required) — Name of the input binary property containing one file with one page. Defaults to data.
• Output Mode — Choose Raw (default) to return the OCR result, or Mapping to emit one item per row from the first array field, merging scalar fields into each row.
• Rename Fields — In Mapping mode, optionally map original output keys to new names. Unmatched keys keep their original names.

Output shape

One or more n8n items containing the OCR result as JSON.

Raw mode returns the API result as a single item unless it is an array, in which case each element becomes an item. Mapping mode returns one item per row in the first array field, with scalar fields merged into each row; if there is no array field, it returns one item. Errors are thrown unless Continue On Fail is enabled.
