Summary

Publish an Instagram post of type feed, stories, or reels by providing the post type, a file URL, file type, and optional caption and location ID.

Inputs

• pub_type — Type of post to publish (feed, stories, or reels). Defaults to 'feed' if not specified.
• file_url — URL of the media file to include in the post.
• file_type — Type of media file ('image' or 'video'). Defaults to 'image' if not specified.
• caption — Optional caption text for the post, up to 2200 characters.
• location_id — Optional ID of the location to tag in the post.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the published post response from the Conecta API

The output contains the JSON response from the POST request to the /instagram/publish-post endpoint. The shape and fields of this response depend on the Conecta API implementation. Errors are raised as node failures unless 'Continue On Fail' is enabled.
