Summary

Update an input element within a section form of a specified body in a FirstSpirit page by sending a JSON payload to modify its data.

Inputs

• Project ID (required) — The ID of the project containing the page.
• Page UID (required) — The unique identifier of the page to update.
• Body Name (required) — The name of the body within the page that contains the section.
• Section Name (required) — The name of the section within the body to target.
• Editor Name (required) — The technical identifier of the input element to update within the section form.
• Content (required) — Raw JSON string representing the new data to patch the input element with.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the API's response to the PATCH request

The response JSON corresponds to the updated input element data returned by the FirstSpirit REST API. The operation sends a PATCH request and returns the API response directly.

Examples

Example 1: Update the data of an input element named 'inputText1' inside section 'mainSection' of body 'defaultBody' in page with UID 'homepage' in project 'myProject123'. Provide the update data as a JSON payload in the Content field.

Set Project ID to 'myProject123', Page UID to 'homepage', Body Name to 'defaultBody', Section Name to 'mainSection', Editor Name to 'inputText1', and Content to the desired JSON patch.
