Summary

Finds websites that share part of a target’s backlink profile, returning competitor domains with backlink intersection counts and rank data. Sends the request to DataForSEO’s live competitors endpoint for each incoming item.

Inputs

• Target (Domain, Subdomain, URL) (required) — Domain or subdomain without https:// or www., or a page as an absolute URL.
• Include Only Main Domain? (required) — Whether to restrict competitor results to main domains. Defaults to true.
• Exclude Large Domain (required) — Whether to exclude large domains. Defaults to true.
• Exclude Internal Links (required) — Whether to exclude internal backlinks. Defaults to true.
• Rank Scale — Scale used for rank values: 0–100 or 0–1000. Defaults to 0–1000.
• Filters — Optional JSON array of DataForSEO-supported result filters; malformed JSON raises an operation error.
• Sort — Optional sorting rules, each with a field name and ascending or descending direction. At most three rules are accepted.
• Limit (up to 1000) — Maximum results to return (1–1000); defaults to 50.
• Offset — Result offset for paging; defaults to 0.

Output shape

A list of n8n items, one per input item, each containing the DataForSEO response in its json field.

The response is the raw API response, including its task and result structure. If Continue On Fail is enabled, failed input items instead contain the original input JSON and an error.
