Summary

Submits a DataForSEO task to fetch YouTube comments for a specified video using the YouTube Comments Advanced endpoint.

Inputs

• video_id (required) — ID of the YouTube video whose comments to retrieve.
• location_name (required) — Full name of the search engine location. Must match a location supported by DataForSEO.
• language_name (required) — Full name of the search engine language. Must match a language supported by DataForSEO.
• priority — Task execution priority. Normal Execution Priority (1) or High Execution Priority (2). Defaults to Normal.
• device_desktop_only — Optionally restrict to Desktop SERP results; leave Empty for the DataForSEO default.
• os_desktop_only — Optionally restrict to a desktop operating system: Windows or macOS; leave Empty for the DataForSEO default.

Output shape

DataForSEO API task-creation response.

This is the non-live, task-based operation. The returned DataForSEO response contains the task status and a task ID; the comments themselves are retrieved later using the corresponding DataForSEO task-get endpoint.
