Summary

Retrieves a list of Box records from the Datto EDR (Infocyte) API's Boxes endpoint, with optional filtering, sorting, field selection, and either a limit or full pagination.

Inputs

• Return All — If true, pages through the API (100 per request, up to 200 pages) and returns every match. Errors if the result exceeds 200 pages; add a filter to narrow it.
• Limit — Max records to return when Return All is off. Default 50, minimum 1.
• Filters — Multiple conditions on Name or Target ID, each with an operator (Equals, Not Equals, Contains, Greater/Less Than or Equal, In List comma-separated) and a value. Conditions are combined into one LoopBack where clause, so they act as AND. Contains wraps the value in %…%. Numeric-looking values are converted to numbers for Equals and comparison operators. Empty values are skipped. If the same field is used twice, the later condition overwrites the earlier one.
• Options > Order — LoopBack sort expression, e.g. "createdOn DESC".
• Options > Fields — Comma-separated list of fields to include in each returned record.
• Options > Where (JSON) — Raw LoopBack where JSON merged over the Filters, so its keys override matching filter fields. Invalid JSON is silently ignored.

Output shape

One n8n output item per Box record returned by the API, each holding the record's fields as JSON.

If nothing matches, a single item {found: 0, resource, operation} is emitted. With Continue On Fail enabled, errors produce an item {error: message}. Requires the Datto EDR credential, whose Base URL must end in /api.

Examples

Example 1: List the first 50 boxes whose name contains "prod", newest first

Return All off, Limit 50, Filter: Name Contains "prod", Options > Order "createdOn DESC"

Example 2: Fetch all boxes belonging to several target groups

Return All on, Filter: Target ID In List "12,34,56"

Example 3: Pull only IDs and names for every box

Return All on, Options > Fields "id,name"
