Summary

Retrieves DNS query logs generated by DefensX agents for a specified customer and date range.

Inputs

• Customer ID (required) — ID of the customer.
• Start Date — Log window start date; can be in JSON datetime or Unix timestamp format (default: beginning of the month).
• End Date — Log window end date; can be in JSON datetime or Unix timestamp format (default: end of the month).
• Return All — Whether to fetch all pages automatically.
• Max Results — Optional maximum number of items to return (0 = no limit).
• Page Size — Number of records to return per page.
• Output Mode — One item per element (default) or single item with the raw response.

Logs are fetched using pagination with a default page size of 100. DNS requests that are allowed by policy are not logged unless the policy is not 'Allow'.

Examples

Example 1: Fetch all DNS logs for a customer for the current month

Customer ID: Required, Start Date: Default (beginning of month), End Date: Default (end of month), Return All: true, Page Size: 100

Example 2: Retrieve the last 500 DNS logs for a specific date range

Customer ID: Required, Start Date: 2023-01-01, End Date: 2023-01-31, Max Results: 500, Return All: false
