Summary

Generate a document from a specified Documentero template using JSON data and immediately send it as an email attachment with customizable email fields.

Inputs

• Document Template Name or ID (required) — Select a document template by name or ID from Documentero App (manage templates at https://app.documentero.com/admin/collections).
• Data Source (required) — Choose whether to provide the template data via the built-in JSON editor or to use JSON from the input item.
• Data (JSON) — If using JSON Editor as Data Source, input the JSON data here to populate the template; you can copy initial JSON structure from the Documentero App Template Overview.
• Email (required) — Specify the recipient email address to send the generated document.
• Email Subject — Set the subject line for the email.
• Email Message — Write the main body message of the email.
• Email Footer — Add a footer message that will appear at the end of the email.
• Email Sender — Specify the sender's email address.
• Email CC — Comma-separated list of email addresses to carbon copy.
• Email BCC — Comma-separated list of email addresses to blind carbon copy.

Output shape

a list of items, each containing the generated document file as binary data and metadata in JSON format

Each output item includes a binary property with the generated document file, retaining the original filename and content type provided by Documentero API. The JSON property includes metadata about the generated document. If generation or sending fails, errors are either thrown or, if "Continue On Fail" is enabled, returned in the JSON error field per item.
