Summary

Update an existing occurrence in dRofus by specifying the occurrence's numeric ID and a JSON merge-patch document with the fields to update.

Inputs

• Occurrence ID (required) — Numeric primary key of the occurrence (occurrences.{ID} in the dRofus API) to update.
• Fields (JSON) — A JSON merge-patch document specifying keys and values to update on the occurrence. Only included keys are changed; setting a key explicitly to null clears that field. Project-specific dynamic fields with keys starting with 'occurrence_data_' can also be updated. Note: If setting 'room_id' to a non-null value, you must also include 'equipment_list_type_id'.

Output shape

a single record representing the updated occurrence

The update applies only the keys present in the JSON document; other fields remain unchanged. Explicit null values clear fields. Returns the updated occurrence data as per the dRofus API response.

Examples

Example 1: Update the quantity and comment fields on a specific occurrence

Set 'Occurrence ID' to the target occurrence's ID; set 'Fields (JSON)' to {"quantity": 2, "comment": "updated"}.
