Summary

Insert a detail record into an efficy entity’s edit context. Provide the parent entity code and key, then the detail entity code and detail record key; the node sends the insertDetail request and commits and closes the context.

Inputs

• Entity (required) — Efficy code for the parent entity, such as Comp or Proj.
• Entity Key (required) — Primary key of the parent entity record.
• Detail Entity (required) — Efficy code for the detail record to link, such as Cont.
• Detail Key (required) — Key of the detail record to link.
• Return Full Response — When enabled, returns the complete API response array under a response property; otherwise returns the first response context, or an empty object if none is present.

Output shape

A single n8n item containing the first API response context by default, or an object with a response array when Return Full Response is enabled.

The operation commits and closes the edit context. API errors are raised as node errors unless Continue On Fail is enabled, in which case the item contains an error field.
