Summary

Submits a render job to the Faceless Video API that turns a list of text segments into a voiced, captioned video. Optionally polls until the render finishes and returns the final result.

Inputs

  • Segments (required) — One or more segments, which you can reorder. Each has required Text (used as both narration and on-screen caption) and an optional Image URL for the background. A solid background is used when the URL is empty. The node errors if no segments are provided.
  • Voice — OpenAI TTS voice for narration: Alloy (default), Echo, Fable, Nova, Onyx or Shimmer.
  • Aspect Ratio — Output ratio: 9:16 portrait (default), 16:9 landscape or 1:1 square.
  • Wait for Completion — Defaults to true. When on, the node polls every 3 seconds, up to 100 attempts (about 5 minutes), until the job is done. When off, it returns the job creation response immediately.
  • Additional Fields > Callback URL — Optional webhook URL that the API posts the result to when the render finishes. It is sent as callback_url.

Output shape

One output item per input item, containing the JSON from the Faceless Video API. With Wait for Completion on, this is the final job status object (status 'done', which should include the video URL). With it off, it is the job creation response (including job_id).

The exact fields come from the API and are not defined in the node. With waiting on, the node errors if the job reports 'failed' (the message includes the API error), if the response has no job_id, or if the job times out after about 5 minutes. With Continue On Fail enabled, failed items return {error: message} instead. Use the Get Result operation with the job_id to check a job later.

Examples

Example 1: Create a vertical short from a script and wait for the finished video URL

Add 3–5 segments with Text (and optional Image URLs), Voice=Nova, Aspect=9:16, Wait for Completion=true.

Example 2: Queue a long render and be notified by webhook

Wait for Completion=false, set Additional Fields > Callback URL to your webhook, and keep the returned job ID for later lookup.

Example 3: Produce a landscape explainer from AI-generated text and images

Map segment Text and Image URL from earlier nodes via expressions, Aspect=16:9, Voice=Onyx.
