Summary

Reads one item from a Framer CMS collection by matching the collection name and item slug in the supplied payload. Returns the item’s slug, ID, and field data when found.

Inputs

• Input JSON (required) — Defaults to the incoming item’s JSON. Supply a payload containing collection (matched case-insensitively as a substring of the collection name) and slug; if the payload has a body property, those values are read from body instead.

Output shape

A single item containing { resource, operation, data }, where data reports success and action, and includes the matched item when found.

The item is returned as { slug, id, fieldData }, using the CMS item's fieldData or the item object as a fallback. If the collection or slug is not found, data includes an error; for a missing slug it also lists available slugs. Runtime errors can instead produce an { error, resource, operation } item when Continue On Fail is enabled.
