Summary

Convert a numerical value from one freight-related unit of measurement to another within the same dimension (mass, length, volume).

Inputs

• Value (required) — The numeric quantity to convert.
• From Unit (required) — Source unit code (e.g., kg, lbs, g, oz, m, ft, cm, in, m3, ft3, l, gal-us, gal-uk). Must represent the dimension being converted.
• To Unit (required) — Target unit code matching the dimension of the source unit.

Output shape

JSON object containing the converted value.

The operation sends a GET request to '/convert' with query parameters 'value', 'from', and 'to'. The response includes the converted unit value matching the requested target unit.

Examples

Example 1: Convert 100 kilograms to pounds

Set Value to 100, From Unit to 'kg', and To Unit to 'lbs'. The output contains the equivalent weight in pounds.
