Summary

Updates an existing GoHighLevel contact by ID using a PUT request. Choose OAuth2 or a Private Integration Token, then provide the contact ID and any fields to update.

Inputs

• Authentication — Select OAuth2 or Private Integration Token; Private Integration Token is the default.
• Contact ID (required) — ID of the contact to update.
• Update Fields — Optionally set email, first name, last name, phone, source, or tags. Tags replace the contact’s existing tags.
• Custom Fields — Optionally provide one or more GoHighLevel custom field IDs and their values.

Output shape

A single response item containing the GoHighLevel API response for the updated contact.

The request uses PUT /contacts/{contactId}. Update Fields and Custom Fields are optional; the operation sends the selected values in the request body.
