Summary

Send a text message optionally with an image from a specified GroupMe bot to its associated group.

Inputs

• Bot Name or ID (required) — Select the bot that will send the message, either by choosing from the list of your bots or specifying an ID via expression.
• Message Text (required) — Enter the text content of the message to be posted by the bot.
• Picture URL — Optionally provide a URL of an image to include with the message.

Output shape

a single record containing the response of the GroupMe API following the message post request

The output returns the API response for the posted message. The operation uses the bot's credentials and posts the message to the bot's associated group. Request options can configure batching, SSL verification, proxy, and timeout but do not affect the structure of the returned data.

Examples

Example 1: Posting a plain text message
