Summary

Creates a new proxy configuration with optional authentication.

Inputs

• protocol (required) — Proxy protocol: HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS4, or SOCKS5 (defaults to HTTP).
• host (required) — Proxy IP address or hostname.
• port (required) — Proxy port number (defaults to 8080).
• username — Username for proxy authentication (optional).
• password — Password for proxy authentication (optional, masked).
• name — Friendly name to identify the proxy.

Output shape

a single item containing the created proxy object (includes ID, timestamp, and configuration details).

The returned item includes a 'success' flag and a 'timestamp' for verification.

Examples

Example 1: Create a standard HTTP proxy

Protocol: HTTP, Host: 192.168.1.1, Port: 8080, Name: MyProxy

Example 2: Create a SOCKS5 proxy with authentication

Protocol: SOCKS5, Host: 10.0.0.5, Port: 1080, Username: user, Password: pass, Name: AuthProxy
