Summary

Retrieves the complete HubSpot schema for a selected CRM object type, including its properties and associations. Choose a standard object type or select Custom and provide the custom object type’s name or ID.

Inputs

• Object Type (required) — CRM object type to retrieve, such as Contacts, Companies, Deals, or Tickets. Defaults to Contacts.
• Custom Object Type (required) — Shown when Object Type is Custom. Enter the custom object type’s name or ID, such as cars or 2-12345.

Output shape

A single n8n item containing the schema returned by HubSpot for the selected object type.

The node requests GET /crm/v3/schemas/{objectType} and passes HubSpot’s response through as the item’s JSON. Requires HubSpot app token credentials.

Examples

Example 1: Retrieve the schema for Contacts

Set Object Type to Contacts. The node returns HubSpot’s schema JSON for contacts.

Example 2: Retrieve a custom object schema

Set Object Type to Custom and enter the custom object type name or ID. The node uses that value to request the schema.
