Summary

Rename an existing mailbox (email folder) on the IMAP server to a new mailbox path or name.

Inputs

• Mailbox Name (required) — Name/path of the mailbox to rename
• New Name (required) — New mailbox path when renaming

Output shape

a single record with the rename operation result indicating success and any additional server response data

Includes property 'renamed' set to true if the rename was successful. Throws error if the mailbox names are invalid or if the operation fails.

Examples

Example 1: Rename mailbox 'OldFolder' to 'NewFolderName'

Set 'Mailbox Name' to 'OldFolder' and 'New Name' to 'NewFolderName'.
