Summary

Updates the password for a channel's streaming restriction.

Inputs

• authentication (required) — Authentication method – either OAuth2 or API Key.
• path_channel (required) — The numeric ID of the channel whose restriction to update.
• query_account_id (required) — The account identifier associated with the channel.
• body_pass_stream (required) — Password for the pass‑stream; must be a plain string without HTML/PHP tags or entities.
• body_password (required) — The new restriction password.
• returnFullResponse — If true, the full API response is returned; otherwise only a success indicator.

Output shape

a JSON object representing the updated restriction (or a success status if returnFullResponse is false)

If returnFullResponse is false the response body is omitted; errors are returned as standard n8n error envelopes.

Example 1: Set a new password for channel 12 in account 5 using API Key authentication

Example 2: Update the pass‑stream password for channel 7 with OAuth2 token
