Summary

Generate an e-invoice document by sending the supplied invoice JSON to invoice-api.xhub for the selected country and format. Return document metadata and, by default, the generated file as binary data.

Inputs

  • Country (required) — Select a country from the searchable list or enter a two-letter uppercase ISO country code. Defaults to DE.
  • Output Format (required) — Select a format from the searchable list or enter a format ID such as xrechnung, zugferd, or facturx. Defaults to xrechnung.
  • Invoice Data (required) — Invoice data as a JSON object; invalid JSON strings cause an error.

Output shape

One n8n item per input item, containing JSON metadata and normally a binary document.

JSON metadata includes success, format, filename, mimeType, and hash; warnings are included when requested and present, and embeddedXml is included when returned. If Output Binary is disabled, the base64 document is placed in json.data instead. With Continue On Fail enabled, failures produce an item with success:false and error details; otherwise the operation throws.
