Summary

Updates an existing IONOS contact by ID with any combination of first name, last name, email, phone, street, city, state, postal code, and country fields.

Inputs

• contactId (required) — The ID of the contact to update.
• updateFields.firstName — The first name of the contact.
• updateFields.lastName — The last name of the contact.
• updateFields.email — The email address of the contact.
• updateFields.phone — The phone number of the contact.
• updateFields.street — Street address.
• updateFields.city — City.
• updateFields.state — State or province.
• updateFields.postalCode — Postal or ZIP code.
• updateFields.country — Country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2).

Examples

Example 1: Update only email and phone of a contact.

Set contactId to the target contact's ID; in Update Fields set email to 'new@example.com' and phone to '+1.555.1234567'.
