Summary

Retrieve current timezone information including date, time, UTC offset, and daylight saving details by querying with various identifiers such as address, coordinates, IATA/ICAO codes, IP address, timezone name, or UN/LOCODE.

Inputs

• timezoneQueryBy (required) — Select the method to query the timezone information: address, coordinates, IATA code, ICAO code, IP address, time zone name, or UN/LOCODE.
• timezoneName (required) — Specify an IANA time zone name when querying by timezone name, e.g., America/Los_Angeles.
• address (required) — Provide a location address preferably city, state, and country when querying by address, e.g., New York, NY, USA.
• latitudeTimezone (required) — Latitude in decimal degrees for the target location when querying by coordinates, e.g., 40.7128.
• longitudeTimezone (required) — Longitude in decimal degrees for the target location when querying by coordinates, e.g., -74.0060.
• ipTimezone (required) — Specify an IP address when querying timezone information by IP, e.g., 8.8.8.8.
• iataTimezone (required) — Provide an IATA airport code when querying by IATA code, e.g., JFK.
• icaoTimezone (required) — Provide an ICAO airport code when querying by ICAO code, e.g., KJFK.
• unlocodeTimezone (required) — Provide a UN/LOCODE for a location when querying by UN/LOCODE, e.g., USNYC.

Output shape

a single JSON object containing the current timezone details for the queried location or identifier
