Summary

Retrieve multiple emails from a selected mailbox with optional filters including sender, recipient, subject, date range, flagged status, unread status, attachment presence, and full text search. Returns a list of emails matching the criteria, up to a specified limit.

Inputs

• Authentication — Choose the authentication method: OAuth2, Basic Auth, or Bearer Token.
• Mailbox (required) — Select the mailbox from which to retrieve emails.
• Limit — Maximum number of emails to return (1–500). Defaults to 50.
• Flagged Only — Return only flagged/starred emails if true.
• From Contains — Filter emails where the From address contains the specified text.
• Full Text Search — Search for this text in subject, body, and addresses.
• Has Attachment — Return only emails that have attachments if true.
• Received After — Filter emails received after this date/time.
• Received Before — Filter emails received before this date/time.
• Subject Contains — Filter emails where the subject contains the specified text.
• To Contains — Filter emails where the To address contains the specified text.
• Unread Only — Return only unread emails if true.

Output shape

a list of email objects matching the given filters, each containing email details such as id, subject, from, to, received date, and other standard email properties.

The operation queries for email IDs matching the filters, then retrieves details of those emails up to the specified limit. If no emails match, returns an empty list. This operation executes once per trigger (not per input item). Error information is provided if the request fails.

Examples

Example 1: Get up to 100 unread emails with attachments received after 2023-01-01 from mailbox 'INBOX'

Set 'Mailbox' to INBOX, 'Limit' to 100, 'Unread Only' and 'Has Attachment' to true, and 'Received After' to 2023-01-01.
