Summary

Upload a file to Kash Files using binary data from an item property, with optional tags and description.

Inputs

• binaryPropertyName (required) — Name of the binary property which contains the file data
• additionalFields — Additional metadata to include with the file upload

Output shape

JSON object returned from the Kash Files upload API endpoint.

The node returns the API response as the workflow item's JSON data.

Examples

Example 1: Upload a file from a binary property named 'data' with tags and description.

Set binaryPropertyName to 'data', additionalFields.tags to 'report,2024', and additionalFields.description to 'Q3 financial report'. The input item must have a binary property 'data' containing the file buffer.
