Summary

Send a WhatsApp document message by specifying the recipient phone number, the Base64-encoded document content with prefix, and the file name to be sent. Optionally include additional context information such as message forwarding status, mentioned JIDs, participant, stanza ID, and an optional message ID for client control.

Inputs

• Phone (required) — Recipient's WhatsApp phone number in international format, e.g., 5511999999999.
• Document (Base64) (required) — Document content encoded in Base64 including the data URL prefix, e.g., data:application/octet-stream;base64,
• File Name (required) — Name of the file being sent.
• Additional Options — Optional context fields including whether the message is forwarded, mentioned JIDs (comma or newline separated), participant, stanza ID, and an optional client control ID.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the API response for the document message sent

The response is returned inside an array with one item per input item. The response JSON contains server acknowledgment and metadata related to the sent document message.
