Summary

Search a collection for records matching optional filters, limited by a count.

Inputs

• collection (required) — Name or ID of the collection to search.
• limit — Maximum number of results to return (default 25).
• filters — Array of filter criteria, each specifying a field name, operator, and value.

Output shape

array of result objects

Each object includes the document fields and an id extracted from _id; may be empty if no matches are found; results respect the limit parameter.

Examples

Example 1: Find active customers

collection: Customers, limit: 10, filters: [{filter_column: "status", filter_operator: "eq", filter_value: "active"}]

Example 2: Get first five orders

collection: Orders, limit: 5

Example 3: Search products with a price filter

collection: Products, limit: 20, filters: [{filter_column: "price", filter_operator: "gt", filter_value: "100"}]
