Summary

Create a new prompt in Langfuse by specifying its name, type (text or chat), and content. Optionally add labels, tags, configuration, and a commit message for versioning.

Inputs

• Prompt Name (required) — Name for the new prompt
• Prompt Type (required) — The type of prompt to create, either 'text' or 'chat'
• Prompt Content (required) — The content of the prompt as plain text (required if Prompt Type is 'text')

Output shape

a single record representing the created prompt's details

Returns the created prompt object as received from the Langfuse API's POST /api/public/v2/prompts endpoint. Optional inputs like labels, tags, config, and commitMessage are sent if provided.
