Summary

Retrieve analytics data for social media posts, either for a specific post or as a paginated list filtered by various parameters such as platform, profile, account, date range, source, and sorted by metrics.

Inputs

• Post ID — Specify a single post's ID (Zernio or external) to return analytics for that post only; leave empty to return a paginated list instead.
• Platform — Filter analytics by social media platform (e.g., Twitter/X, Instagram); leave empty to include all platforms.
• Profile ID — Filter analytics by a specific profile's unique identifier.
• Account ID — Filter analytics by a specific social account ID.
• Source — Filter by post source/origin: all, posted via Zernio (late), or synced from external platform.
• From Date — Inclusive start date of analytics data in YYYY-MM-DD format; defaults to 90 days ago if omitted.
• To Date — Inclusive end date of analytics data in YYYY-MM-DD format; defaults to today if omitted.
• Limit — Number of records per page (1-100) when listing multiple posts' analytics; default is 50.
• Page — Page number for paginated results, starting at 1; default is 1.
• Sort By — Sort analytics results by date or specific metric (engagement, impressions, reach, likes, comments, shares, saves, clicks, views); defaults to date.
• Order — Sort order: ascending or descending; defaults to descending.

Output shape

a single post's analytics object if Post ID is specified; otherwise a paginated list of analytics objects for multiple posts matching filter criteria.

The results respect pagination parameters (Limit and Page) and sorting options. Date filters default to a maximum recent 90-day window if omitted, with a max range of 366 days. If Post ID is given, only that post's analytics are returned; otherwise, multiple records may be returned.

Examples

Example 1: Get analytics for a specific post on Instagram.

Set Post ID to the desired post's ID and Platform to 'Instagram'.

Example 2: List analytics for all Twitter posts in the last month, sorted by engagement descending.

Leave Post ID empty, set Platform to 'Twitter', From Date and To Date to define the last month, Sort By to 'Engagement', and Order to 'Descending'.
