Summary

Searches the merchant’s catalog for categories matching a category name or query and returns the API response.

Inputs

• Merchant ID (required) — Merchant UUID used to scope the category search; defaults to the incoming item’s merchantId.
• Category Name — Category search term; defaults to the incoming item’s categoryName or message.
• Message — Fallback search text when Category Name and Query are empty; defaults to the incoming item’s message or text.
• Query — Free-form search term; defaults to the incoming item’s query or message. Used after Category Name and before Message.

Output shape

A single item per input, containing a success response with the category search API result in data.

The response includes success: true, operation: "search_categories", and a Portuguese success message. Results are sent to the first output; the second output is only used for unsuccessful merchant-by-WhatsApp-instance lookups.

Examples

Example 1: Search for a category by name

Set Merchant ID and Category Name, or provide the merchantId and categoryName fields in the incoming item. The node sends a GET request to the merchant catalog category search endpoint with merchantId and the selected search term.
