Summary

Add a user to an organization membership.

Inputs

• userId (required) — The ID of the user to add to the organization.
• orgId (required) — The ID of the organization to add the user to.
• role — The role for the user membership. Defaults to 'member' if omitted.

Output shape

The JSON response from LinderConnect's /api/admin/memberships/org/add endpoint, representing the created membership record.

POST request with body {userId, orgId, role}. The role parameter is optional and defaults to 'member' in the UI; omitting it passes undefined to the API, which may apply a server-side default.

Examples

Example 1: Add a user with ID 'u123' to organization 'o456' as a member.

Set userId to 'u123', orgId to 'o456', and leave role at its default 'member'.
