Summary

Update an existing bookmark in Linkding by specifying its ID and any fields to modify.

Inputs

• Bookmark ID (required) — The ID of the bookmark to update.
• Update Fields — Fields to update on the bookmark, including URL, title, description, notes, tag names (comma-separated), unread status, and shared status.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the updated bookmark

The node sends a PATCH request to update the bookmark identified by Bookmark ID with the specified fields. Fields not included remain unchanged. Tag names input as a comma-separated string are converted to an array of trimmed strings. On success, the full updated bookmark data is returned.

Examples

Example 1: Update a bookmark with ID '123' to change its title and mark it as unread

Specify 'bookmark' resource, 'update' operation, enter '123' for Bookmark ID, and under Update Fields set Title to the new title string and Unread to true.
