Summary

Adds a participant to a chat by phone number handle.

Inputs

• chatId (required) — The ID of the chat to which the participant will be added.
• handle (required) — The phone number handle of the participant in E.164 format.

Output shape

The created participant resource returned by the Linq API

Returns the participant object on success; may include errors if chatId or handle is missing.

Examples

Example 1: Add a user to a support group chat

chatId: "chat_001", handle: "+15551234567"

Example 2: Invite a new colleague to a project chat

chatId: "chat_abc", handle: "+442079460123"
