Summary

Update an existing Environment by specifying its ID or selecting from a list, and set a new name along with optional additional fields to customize the update.

Inputs

• environmentId (required) — The ID of the environment to update, selectable from a searchable list or entered as a numeric string.
• name (required) — The new name to assign to the environment.
• additionalFields — Optional fields to specify additional parameters for the update, such as which columns to return and the order in which to sort returned data.

a single environment record with updated details

The response includes details of the updated environment. You can optionally limit returned columns and specify column ordering via Additional Fields. If no columns are selected, all fields are returned.

Examples

Example 1: Update environment name with ID 1234, return all columns.

Set Environment ID to '1234', set Name to desired value, leave Additional Fields empty (default).

Example 2: Update environment and return specific columns.

Set Environment ID, Name, and in Additional Fields select specific columns to return such as Name, Status, UpdatedOn.
