Summary

Updates an existing HTTP link file entry in a LucidLink filespace by replacing its URL. Only HttpLinkFile entries can be updated, and the file at the new URL must match the original file size.

Inputs

• Filespace ID (required) — ID of the filespace containing the external entry.
• Entry ID (required) — ID of the external entry to update; only HTTP link file entries are supported.
• HTTP File URL (required) — New HTTP or HTTPS URL for the linked file. Its content size must match the original file size.
• File Size — Optional size of the file at the new URL, in bytes. Providing it skips the URL access check (HEAD request).

Output shape

A single response item containing the API response data.

Sends a PATCH request to the external entry endpoint. For node version 2, a response object with a data field is unwrapped; an array in data becomes multiple output items.
