Summary

Create a collage from multiple images with configurable canvas, layout, and output options.

Inputs

• outputFormat — The format of the output image (jpg, png, webp, avif), default jpg.
• quality — Output image quality from 1 to 100, default 80.
• images — Collection of image URLs to include in the collage.
• canvas — Canvas settings for the collage (width, height, background color).
• gap — Pixel gap between images in the collage, default 20.
• fit — How images should be fitted within their allocated space (cover or contain), default cover.
• letterboxColor — Background color for letterboxing when fit is contain, default #FFFFFF.
• retrySettings — Configuration for retry behavior on failure.
• requestOptions — Additional request options such as batching, proxy, timeout, and SSL verification.
• allowUnauthorizedCerts — Whether to accept responses with invalid SSL certificates.
• proxy — HTTP proxy URL, e.g., http://username:password@myproxy:3128.
• timeout — Request timeout in milliseconds, default 10000.

Output shape

binary image data (e.g., PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF) returned as the response body

On success the operation returns the collage image bytes; on failure an error is thrown with details.

Examples

Example 1: Generate a default collage from several image URLs

Set Images to a collection of URLs, leave outputFormat as jpg, quality 80, canvas size 1920x1080, fit cover, gap 20.

Example 2: Create a PNG collage with custom canvas dimensions and background

outputFormat = png, canvas.width = 1280, canvas.height = 720, canvas.background = #000000, fit = contain, letterboxColor = #FFFFFF.

Example 3: Enable retry logic with exponential backoff

retrySettings.enableRetry = true, maxRetries = 5, retryDelay = 3, backoffStrategy = exponential.
