Summary

Set the presence of a WhatsApp chat contact (e.g., composing or paused) and optionally attach audio media.

Inputs

• phone (required) — Phone number of the contact (e.g., 5511999999999) to set presence for.
• presenceState (required) — State of presence; must be 'composing' or 'paused'.
• presenceMedia — Optional media type; currently only 'audio' is supported.

Output shape

array of objects, each representing the API response (or error) for the processed item

Each element may contain a successful response payload or an 'error' field if the request fails; the array length matches the number of input items.

Example 1: Set a contact's presence to 'composing'

Phone: 5511999999999, Presence State: composing, Presence Media: (none)

Example 2: Set presence to 'paused' with audio media

Example 3: Include presence in a broader message‑sending workflow

Combine with a 'sendText' operation using the same phone number and presence configuration as above.
