Summary

Create a new memory entry by providing its content, type, confidence score, and optional metadata and user ID.

Inputs

• Content (required) — The text content of the memory to store.
• Memory Type — Category of the memory; options include Fact, Preference, Observation, Habit, Skill, Goal, and Insight. Defaults to Fact.
• Confidence — Confidence score of the memory, ranging from 0 to 1, indicating the certainty level. Defaults to 0.8.
• User ID — Optional user identifier to support multi-tenant or B2B scenarios.
• Metadata — Additional JSON-formatted metadata to associate with the memory.

Output shape

a single record representing the created memory object as returned by the MemoryStack API, including assigned IDs and fields reflecting the input parameters.

If the creation fails, an error is thrown unless 'Continue On Fail' is enabled, in which case an error object is returned instead. The user ID and metadata are optional; if empty or not provided, they are omitted from the request.
