Summary

Create a new time entry record associating a specific employee with a start and stop timestamp for their worked period.

Inputs

• Employee ID (required) — Numeric ID of the employee for whom the time entry is created.
• Start Timestamp (required) — Date-time marking the beginning of the time period.
• Stop Timestamp (required) — Date-time marking the end of the time period.

Output shape

A single record representing the created time entry is returned as JSON.

The output JSON reflects the response from the API confirming creation. If multiple input items are processed, multiple such records are returned in an array. Errors per item are returned if 'continueOnFail' is enabled.

Examples

Example 1: Create a time entry for employee 123 starting at 2024-06-01T08:00:00Z and stopping at 2024-06-01T16:00:00Z.

Set Employee ID to 123, Start Timestamp to '2024-06-01T08:00:00Z', Stop Timestamp to '2024-06-01T16:00:00Z'.
