Summary

Builds a preview of a Morning document using the supplied document details and line items. Choose the document type, enter its description and client, and provide any income or payment lines needed for that type.

Inputs

• Document Type (required) — Document kind to preview; defaults to tax invoice (305). The available types include invoices, receipts, orders, delivery notes, credit notes, and deposit documents.
• Description (required) — Title or description displayed on the document.
• Language — Rendering language: Hebrew (default) or English.
• Currency — ISO 4217 currency code for document totals; defaults to ILS.
• VAT Type — How line prices relate to VAT: 0 = before VAT, 1 = VAT included (default), or 2 = exempt.
• Document Date — Issue date printed on the document. When omitted, Morning defaults it to today.
• Due Date — Payment due date. When omitted, Morning defaults it to the last day of the month relative to the document date, or today if no document date is supplied.
• Client (JSON) — Client object, such as an existing client ID or details with add:true to create a client.
• Income Lines (JSON Array) — Income line items in the income array, including description, quantity, price, currency, and vatType. Line prices must correspond to the selected VAT type.
• Payment Lines (JSON Array) — Payment entries in the singular payment array. Required for document types 320, 400, and 405; an empty array is omitted from the request.
• Remarks — Free-text notes printed on the document.

Output shape

A single document preview response from Morning.

The supplied source pack exposes helper and class signatures but not their bodies, so it does not establish the exact response fields or confirm whether preview creates or stores a document.
