Summary

Sync historical messages for a specific chat from the platform provider

Inputs

• chatId (required) — Chat ID
• project (required) — Project identifier to operate on
• startDate — Start date for history sync (ISO 8601)
• endDate — End date for history sync (ISO 8601)
• limit — Maximum number of messages to sync (1-1000)

Output shape

Sync job confirmation or processed messages from the platform provider

Operation consumes chatId and project as required inputs; startDate, endDate, and limit are optional and passed in the request body. HTTP method: POST to /api/v1/projects/{{project}}/chats/{{chatId}}/sync.

Examples

Example 1: Sync messages from chat ID 'c123' in project 'my-project' from 2024-01-01 to 2024-01-31 with limit 200
