Summary

Edit the text of a previously sent message by specifying its chat ID and message ID, updating the content with new text and optional formatting or inline keyboard markup.

Inputs

• Chat ID (required) — ID of the chat where the message was sent. Typically obtained from a trigger like {{ $json.message.chat.id }}.
• Message ID (required) — ID of the specific message to edit. Usually taken from a trigger such as {{ $json.message.message_id }}.
• Текст (required) — New text content to replace the existing message text.
• Parse Mode — Optional text formatting mode, supporting no formatting, Markdown, or HTML.
• Reply Markup (JSON) — Optional JSON defining an inline keyboard to attach to the edited message, formatted per Telegram's inline keyboard structure.

Output shape

a list of JSON objects each containing the API response for the editMessageText call

Returns the raw JSON response from the API for each processed input item. If multiple items are provided, returns corresponding results in order. Errors can be caught per item if 'Continue On Fail' is enabled.

Examples

Example 1: Update a bot's message text in a Telegram chat

Set 'Chat ID' to the target chat's ID, 'Message ID' to the message you want to edit, provide the new text in 'Текст', optionally set formatting with 'Parse Mode', and attach updated inline keyboard JSON in 'Reply Markup (JSON)' if needed.
